Tyson Zarnstorff began his coaching career at MLC as an assistant women's soccer coach in 2018. After five years in that role, Zarnstorff was promoted to head coach in December 2022. Â
Zarnstorff was an elementary teacher in Lowell, Arkansas, for eight years. He taught primary math, physical education and religion in grades 3-9. He also coached recreation soccer in the fall and spring. After Arkansas, Zarnstorff went to Divine Savior Academy in Doral, Florida. He taught middle school math and science for three years and high school math for one year. He coached the middle school girls soccer team for three years and started a successful high school girls soccer program in his last year there.
At MLC, Zarnstorff teaches in the Math and Education departments.Â
Since arriving in New Ulm, Zarnstorff has coached girls rec and traveling soccer teams. Every summer, he also coaches at a soccer camp hosted by John and Paul Ministries.
