NEW ULM, Minn. - The Martin Luther College men's soccer dropped its home opener to Gustavus Adolphus College by the score of 2-1 on Wednesday.
The Knights played a double overtime game at Buena Vista Tuesday night, but showed no ill effects as they held the teams remained score less through 39 minutes of action.
Joseph Graumann put the Knights on the board in 40th minute off a long pass from
Ethan Schultz give the Knights the lead. The goal was his second this season.
The Gusties tied the game right before the half on a goal in the 44th minute, and then scored the go ahead tally in the 64th minute.

Caleb King stopped seven of the nine shots he faced.
Graumann and Schultz each finished with two total shots and one shot on goal for MLC.
The Knights fell to 0-2 on the season in defeat, while GAC improved to 3-0 following the win.
